As an intern in the PRV team, you will have the opportunity to join a global team within the firm. This team spans across London, Madrid, Luxembourg, and Tampa and has central responsibility for the valuations process, portfolio reporting, and collection & analysis of portfolio company data across two strategies: buyout and growth. This internship will provide you with a great opportunity to learn how a leading PE firm operates.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

  1. Reporting and Presentation: Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal & external stakeholders, including top management. Help consolidate data and present key findings in a clear and concise manner.
  2. Data collection: Assist the team during the monthly and quarterly collection and verification of portfolio company data.
  3. Process timeliness and validation of data: Help ensure the timely and accurate submission of data by working closely with portfolio companies and investment teams. Perform rigorous validation of the collected data.
  4. Ad hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc analysis for internal stakeholders (IC members, Investment Teams, Financing Group, Investor Relations, etc.) to support internal and external initiatives.
  5. Data Management: Assist in managing the portfolio monitoring system, continuously assess templates, processes, and systems used for data collection, and identify areas for improvement. Contribute to the creation of a single source of truth for portfolio company data.
  6. Projects: Actively participate in ongoing initiatives to improve PRV’s efficiency and automation.

SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative & people skills, and ability to understand key financial metrics and perform qualitative and quantitative analyses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Power Bi experience is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish & English (C2 level required).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Prior internship or coursework in consulting, finance, private equity, or related fields is a plus.
