Internship Overview

As a Finance Transformation Intern at Permira, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the Firm Finance Transformation team. This team is dedicated to improving the Firm Finance’s operational efficiency, data management and systems implementation such as OneStream (the Enterprise Performance Management -EPM- system).

Key Responsibilities

  1. OneStream (EPM) System Management: Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the EPM system, ensuring its optimal performance, led by the current OneStream Expert team member. This includes troubleshooting system issues, implementing updates, and coordinating with IT for any technical needs.
  2. End User Support: Provide prompt and efficient support to end-users of the EPM system. This involves resolving user queries, training users on system functionalities, and creating user-friendly documentation and guides.
  3. Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives within the EPM system and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Firm Finance team, IT and other Federation teams, to gather relevant information and provide support as needed.

Skills and Characteristics

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, IT or a related field.
  • Interest in financial systems and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving & people skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (in both Spanish & English).
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Prior internship or coursework in consulting, finance, private equity, or related fields is a plus.
