You will be instrumental in promoting engagement, reporting, and education throughout the organisation.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

ESG Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain and oversee the ESG strategy and action plans
  • Monitor and report ESG performance (Net Zero, Scope 1/2/3 emissions, UN SDGs)
  • Facilitate ESG collaboration among internal teams, customers, and regulatory bodies
  • Manage ESG communications, SharePoint, and Exchange page
  • Maintain relationships with ESG partners, charities, and community groups
  • Oversee CSR-A accreditation and identify benchmarking opportunities
  • Assist procurement and supply chain with knowledge in ESG practices.

 

HSE Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure statutory compliance with H&S legislation and environmental regulations
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Maintain HSE policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Deliver HSE training and inductions, including remote working support
  • Manage Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments and wellbeing initiatives
  • Support emergency response and ISO standards application
  • Chair HSE forums and contribute to HSE strategy development.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

 

  • ESG qualification and experience in CSR/ESG roles
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, IEMA or equivalent HSE qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of ESG benchmarks and H&S legislation
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, reporting, and policy development
  • Knowledge of environmental impact reporting and fire safety systems
  • First aid certification and mental health first aider training
  • Proficient analytical and reporting skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including Board and Executive
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • A deep interest in promoting sustainability, safety, and positive social change.
