This is a great opportunity for an experienced D365 Specialist to work with us at Pay.UK. Here's a quick summary of the role:
- Responsible for understanding and reviewing technical requirements and working with both IT and external partners to design, build, deliver and support solutions built on and integrated with D365.
- Responsible for the smooth transition of operational aspects of new deliveries/Changes to the IT team.
- Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate, as necessary.
- Partner with Business Continuity to ensure Pay.UK operates within risk threshold for Service Continuity in relation to the provision of internal Enterprise IT Services.
- Serves as point of contact or subject matter expert for the business on specific systems.
Key Accountabilities
- Identify opportunities and support creation of business cases for optimising the use of Microsoft Dynamics within the organisation
- Create and maintain architectural documentation as artefacts
- Support remediating vulnerability and pen testing across D365 platform and integrations (where applicable)
- Support technical investigation, response, containment and recovery during security incidents
- Work alongside the rest of the IT and Business Sponsors to build an overall technology vision and strategy for the business to adopt.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on Microsoft Dynamics functionalities and best practices.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CRM system
- Develop and maintain data import/export processes
- Perform data cleansing and migration tasks as needed.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
- Test and validate new features and functionality.
- Work closely with internal teams to map out business processes and translate them into Dynamics 365 solutions that enhance operational efficiency
- Leverage Microsoft Dataverse to integrate and manage data across Dynamics 365 applications
- Expand skillsets to manage and support further platforms under the Enterprise IT Portfolio.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Extensive practical knowledge of configuring and supporting the Microsoft Dynamics platform, the entity model, security model, and Web services
- Deep understanding of Dynamics 365 technical and functional capabilities
- Proficient in designing, building, testing and maintaining modern software applications including Low Code solutions
- Experience developing Dynamics CE/Sales/Marketing
- Extensive working knowledge of the Power Platform suite (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent, Power Pages) and Dataverse
- Advanced skills in data modelling and data management so that database is built in a clean and manageable fashion. Understanding of Microsoft Dataverse for data management across the Microsoft ecosystem
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Apps certifications
- Good understanding of Azure and cloud technologies
- Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration
- Presentation & Demonstration skills
- Business Requirement Analysis
- Broad understanding of SDLC, Development Management, Data Migrations, Business Process Mapping, Modelling and Documentation
- Good grasp of IT Service Management and IT Operational Frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
- Automation mindset, continually seeking improvements – ability to script with PowerShell, PowerApps to automate tasks and streamlines processes
- Comprehensive understanding of security principles and practices
- Proficient communication and technical stakeholder engagement skills
- An ability to motivate others, with a self-learning mindset
