Reconciliation Analyst (Barcelona)

PayRetailers’ business is growing exponentially, and we are adding new payment methods in the different countries. To support this growth, we are looking for a Reconciliation Analyst who will be responsible for reconciling bank- and partner accounts and ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately. This includes reviewing financial records to identify discrepancies and prepare reports detailing the findings and recommend corrective action to prevent future errors.

The preferred candidate should have a high attention to detail and be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment, while working collaboratively with various internal and external teams to successfully meet agreed deliverables.

About the role:

  • Perform reconciliation of partners at transactional level daily
  • Reconcile transactions with bank entries
  • Investigations of any variances identified
  • Prepare and report of reconciliation status
  • Secure a three way reconciliation, matching of user transactions, to partner reports to bank statements
  • Discussion with partners to solve issues identified
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and guidelines
  • Prepares accurate and timely monthly reconciliations
  • Control fee reconciliations
  • Built other potential ad-hoc reports
  • Support in ad-hoc requests as assigned
  • Undertake analytical review of the different processes to ensure appropriate controls are settled in place and suggest potential improvements

 

About you:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
  • Experience working in an ERP system
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
  • Fluent in English and preferable high level in Spanish
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in bank/data reconciliation and DUCO reconciliation tool
