Your role and impact:

As a Automation Quality Assurance Specialist at Paymentop, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our cutting-edge payment solutions. Your efforts in identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs, along with your active involvement in the entire software development lifecycle, will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of our products. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to push the boundaries of what's possible in the fintech industry.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing to identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement across various platforms and devices.
  • Automated Testing:
    - Design Test Automation Frameworks(Playwright/JS) and infrastructure from scratch, to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
    - Create CI/CD pipelines
    - Integrate Qase and Playwright for Regression scope running
    - Promote the use of the Shift Left testing approach.
  • Playwright Integration: Utilize Playwright for API, e2e and UI testing, contributing to seamless testing processes that align with our technological stack.
  • Test Plan Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans of autotest coverage, including defining objectives, strategies, test cases, and success criteria.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, log, and track bugs and issues, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Performance Testing: Assess system performance and make recommendations for enhancements, ensuring optimal user experience.
  • Collaboration with Team: Work in close partnership with developers, PM, Head of QA and other stakeholders to align testing with business requirements and project goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry practices and tools, continuously enhancing our testing methodologies to maintain the highest standards of quality.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of testing procedures, results, and any relevant observations, contributing to transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements & skills:

  • Previous Experience:
    -3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
    - Leading automation initiatives across the team
    -3+ years of experience with Programming language ( JavaScript, TypeScript );
    - Performance testing experience with Jmeter or similar
  • Experience with Playwright/JS:
    -Proven hands-on experience with Playwright for automating tests is essential.
    -Creating test framework from scratch.
    -Know more than 1 design pattern.
    -Experience with fixtures
    -Experience with API/UI autotests is mandatory.
    -CSS\XPath, etc. selectors
  • Manual Testing: Strong experience in manual testing methodologies and practices. You must understand and be able to discuss testing principles, levels, and basic test design techniques. 
  • Understanding of SDLC: Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and create effective solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously review code, specifications, and documentation to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
  • Experience with Version Control Systems:
    -Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins etc;
    -Experience with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket; 

As a Plus:

  • Certificate: ISTQB
  • Knowledge of Automated Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with various automated testing frameworks and tools in addition to Playwright.
