Your Role and Impact:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the company's daily operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence across all departments. Working closely with owners, CEOs, and board members, the COO will develop and implement operational strategies, improve processes, and enhance client satisfaction. The COO is also accountable for the company's overall financial success, from shaping company strategy alongside key leaders to executing it effectively at both operational and tactical levels. This role involves analyzing and measuring performance metrics, fostering cross-functional collaboration, continuously optimizing processes, and proactively identifying growth opportunities or issues that need addressing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the tech industry, strong leadership and management abilities, and a proven track record of successfully coordinating various departments, including marketing, sales, production, and central services, to achieve operational excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to implement the company's strategy, taking charge of driving growth and profitability by developing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on operational initiatives.
  • Operational Management: Oversee and manage the company's daily operations, including project management, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. Continuously monitor and measure key performance metrics to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to boost operational efficiency and quality. Lead initiatives aimed at streamlining operations and reducing costs.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team. Cultivate a culture of collaboration, diversity, innovation, and high performance.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage operational budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation. Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to meet financial targets.
  • ESG and Sustainability: Lead the development and execution of initiatives related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), as well as sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operational managerial positions with at least 3 years in senior/middle management leadership role β€” ideally in tech industry, fintech, e-commerce etc.
  • Previous experience in product management 
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process optimization, organization transformation projects at scale of 300+ employees
  • Strategic thinker with a visionary outlook and innovation drive able to challenge status quo and implement strategic development plans
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Consistently works with data and analytics, measures the company’s performance, identifies bottlenecks, manages reports, and optimizes funnels and conversions.
  • Speaks English (at least B2)
