About the Role

We are looking for a Founder’s Associate to join Payhawk’s CEO Office, acting as a strategic and analytical extension of the CEO and C-level leadership team.
This is a high-impact, high-exposure role at the intersection of data science, finance, strategy, and execution. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership on company-wide initiatives such as go-to-market strategy, monetization, pricing, commissions, and performance management, while owning complex analytical and modeling work to support decision-making. You will also help define, track, and automate OKRs and performance metrics, ensuring leadership has clear, real-time visibility into progress against strategic goals.


The position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities 

You will work across strategic, analytical, and execution-focused initiatives, including:

  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and C-level leaders on GTM strategy, monetization, pricing, and commercial performance
  • Build and maintain financial, commercial, and operational models to support strategic decisions
  • Analyze company-wide data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across revenue, pricing, commissions, and unit economics
  • Design, maintain, and improve dashboards and reporting for executive decision-making (Tableau, BigQuery)
  • Own and support OKR definition, tracking, and measurement across key strategic initiatives
  • Design and maintain automated OKR and performance tracking frameworks, integrating data from multiple sources to enable real-time visibility for the CEO and C-level leadership
  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Product to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and clarity
  • Support strategic initiatives such as new products, pricing experiments, compensation models
  • Translate complex data into clear insights and executive-level recommendations
  • Drive ad-hoc analyses and projects directly requested by the CEO and leadership team
  • Help structure ambiguous problems and turn them into actionable plans 

Requirements

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree, preferably with a Finance or Strategy focus
  • Background in management consulting is a strong plus
  • Experience in Venture Capital and/or founder/startup experience is an extra plus
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in data modeling and financial modeling
  • Hands-on experience with
  • SQL / BigQuery Tableau or similar BI tools for Data modeling and structured analytics
  • Experience working with OKRs, KPI frameworks, performance tracking, and reporting, including automation
  • Strong understanding of pricing models, commissions, revenue metrics, and unit economics
  • Ability to work comfortably with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
  • Highly structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-ownership environment

  • Experience working directly with founders or C-level executives
  • Exposure to SaaS business models
  • Experience scaling or building products, teams, or companies from early stages
  • Strong business intuition combined with deep analytical rigor
