Agent Architect, Partner Success

New York Office

About Parloa

Parloa’s mission is to make every customer conversation feel effortless for both customers and the companies serving them. As agentic AI accelerates, Parloans are shaping the foundation of a new era in customer experience — one where customer support is no longer transactions, but meaningful exchanges.

It is not just a vision; Parloa has powered over ONE BILLION interactions between global enterprise brands and their customers, with companies like Booking.com, Allianz, SAP, BarmeniaGothaer and TUI already deploying Parloa at scale.

About the role:

As a Partner Agent Architect at Parloa, you will operate at the intersection of enterprise solution architecture, conversational AI, and partner enablement, helping strategic partners and enterprise customers design, implement, and scale AI-driven customer experiences.

This is a highly consultative, customer-facing role where you will guide partners and clients through solution discovery, end-to-end solution architecture, enterprise integration design, conversational architecture, and implementation strategy for enterprise AI Agents. You will design how Parloa’s platform integrates into complex enterprise environments, solve multi-system integration challenges, and apply systems thinking to build reliable, scalable AI solutions.

While you bring strong technical depth and can build when needed, your primary focus will be helping partners shape the right technical solutions, architect scalable integrations, prioritize effectively, and successfully operationalize Parloa’s platform within complex enterprise environments.

You will also help shape the conversational experience layer by translating customer requirements into AI Agent behavior through prompt engineering, LLM concepts, and conversational design. Prior conversational design experience is valuable but can be further developed on the job.

You will work closely with strategic partners, enterprise customers, Partner Success Managers, Technical Program Managers, Forward Deployed Engineers, Solution Engineers, and the broader Agent Architect organization to drive successful AI deployments and long-term customer value.

This is your opportunity to shape how enterprise organizations and global partners adopt agentic AI at scale while acting as a trusted advisor across both business and technical stakeholders.

Areas of ownership:

  • Scope and design end-to-end AI Agent deployments across complex enterprise environments.
  • Define how Parloa integrates with systems such as CRMs, ERPs, ticketing platforms, contact center technologies, and other enterprise applications.
  • Apply systems thinking to solve complex multi-system data flows, dependencies, and integration challenges.
  • Guide partners and customers on API design, authentication, data transformation, field mapping, error handling, and integration patterns.
  • Build, configure, test, or troubleshoot integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, JSON/XML payloads, and tools such as Postman.
  • Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers on complex or custom integration scenarios beyond standard platform capabilities.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions with partner and customer stakeholders.
  • Translate customer workflows and business requirements into structured conversational components and reliable AI Agent behavior.
  • Apply knowledge of LLMs, prompting strategies, embeddings, and context management to improve agent performance.
  • Support prompt design, conversational flows, guardrails, escalation logic, and voice configuration such as SSML, lexicons, and regex.
  • Apply structured testing to validate architecture, integration reliability, agent quality, and real-world behavior.
  • Review partner-created solution designs and help partners build the capability to deliver Parloa solutions independently.
  • Identify and resolve delivery blockers with Product, Solution Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Customer Success, and partner teams.
  • Document reusable architecture patterns, implementation guidance, technical standards, and best practices.

What Success Looks Like

  • Partners and customers trust you as a strategic and technical advisor.

  • Partner-led deployments launch with scalable architectures, reliable integrations, and strong AI Agent performance.

  • Partners become increasingly self-sufficient while maintaining high delivery quality and alignment with Parloa standards.

  • Technical risks, integration gaps, and implementation blockers are identified and resolved early.

  • Reusable technical guidance and architecture patterns improve delivery quality across the partner ecosystem.

Who you are:

  • 4+ years of experience in enterprise customer-facing technical roles across solution architecture, systems architecture, enterprise integration, technical consulting, or complex SaaS implementation.
  • Experience working with strategic partners, systems integrators, consulting firms, or partner-led delivery models.
  • Strong systems thinking and experience solving complex problems across multiple systems and data sources.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms such as CRMs, ERPs, ticketing systems, contact center platforms, or workflow tools.
  • Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON/XML, API testing tools such as Postman, and authentication patterns including OAuth, API keys, and JWT.
  • Experience reading API documentation, defining field mappings, and troubleshooting integration behavior.
  • Ability to evaluate technical feasibility, architecture quality, scalability, security, and delivery risk.
  • Comfort working hands-on with integrations, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, conversational architecture, and enterprise AI workflows.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into reliable prompts, conversational flows, and agent behaviors.
  • Strong stakeholder and project management skills, with experience leading workshops, discovery sessions, or architecture discussions.
  • Excellent communication and consultative problem-solving skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong initiative, and comfort operating in an evolving environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience enabling systems integrators or technical delivery partners.
  • Exposure to contact center, telephony, or enterprise CX technologies.
  • Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, or SAP Integration Suite.
  • Familiarity with embeddings, tool calling, retrieval, or agent orchestration.
  • Experience with SSML, lexicons, regex, or voice configuration.
  • Exposure to TypeScript, Node.js, Git, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience supporting enterprise go-lives and production troubleshooting.

Why Parloa?

We’re at the beginning of a new era in customer experience, one where AI doesn’t just respond, but understands, reasons, and takes action. We’re building agentic AI that enterprises trust with their most important customer moments: complex questions, high volumes, real stakes. When millions of people reach out to a brand, those interactions aren’t just support tickets; they’re defining experiences. We’re here to raise the standard: making every conversation seamless, intelligent, and genuinely helpful. If you care about shaping how businesses and customers connect at scale—and want your work to matter in real, everyday moments—this is where you do it.

At Parloa, ownership isn’t a buzzword; it means being accountable for outcomes, not just tasks. We operate in a category that’s evolving fast, where the bar is high, and the problems are complex. We hire people who think in solutions, communicate with clarity, and follow through. People who are comfortable making decisions, taking responsibility, and raising the standard for themselves and those around them.

We’ve grown beyond the earliest startup phase, but we’ve kept the intensity: fast execution, direct feedback, and a strong expectation to contribute meaningfully from day one.

Backed by leading global investors like General Catalyst, EQT Ventures, and Altimeter Capital, we’re scaling with a clear ambition: to become the global category leader in enterprise-grade conversational AI.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
