Senior Value Consultant - West / Central U.S

Remotely in the USA

YOUR MISSION:

As a Senior Value Consultant at Parloa, you own the financial and business case for our most important enterprise AI deals. Your mission is to architect and validate CFO-grade ROI models, business cases, and value narratives that shift Parloa’s sales motion from feature-led to value-led.

You sit at the intersection of Sales, Solutions Engineering, and executive buyers— translating Parloa’s AI capabilities into defensible economic outcomes that stand up to real enterprise scrutiny. Your work enables customers to make confident investment decisions and makes Parloa one of the easiest vendors to partner with due to clarity, rigor, and value transparency.

This is not generic consulting or slideware. It’s applied value engineering: building first-principles business cases under time pressure, with imperfect data, across complex enterprise buying committees— and making the numbers undeniable.

Location:

West or Central U.S. (Austin, Dallas, Denver, Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Portland)

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Own enterprise value engagements: Lead and personally own value engineering across the sales lifecycle—from early-stage value framing to late-stage deal support and post-live value validation—primarily for $1M+ enterprise opportunities.
  • Build CFO-grade business cases: Develop first-principles ROI models that quantify Parloa’s impact across cost reduction, productivity, revenue, and CX, and that withstand executive, finance, and procurement scrutiny.
  • Run executive value discovery: Facilitate executive-level discovery sessions and value workshops with CFOs, CIOs, and business leaders, translating qualitative priorities into quantified financial outcomes.
  • Enable value-led selling: Define industry- and use-case–specific value drivers and build standardized frameworks, narratives, and tooling that enable Sales and Solutions Engineering to lead confident value conversations.
  • Support strategic deals and expansion: Act as a hands-on partner for lighthouse accounts, shaping value narratives for prioritization, competitive positioning, pricing discussions, and expansion readiness.
  • Build repeatability: Feed field learnings into reusable value frameworks, benchmarks, tooling (including Parloa Value Studio), and GTM playbooks.
  • Travel: This role requires up to 40% travel, primarily within the West Coast and Central US regions.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 5+ years of experience in value engineering, value consulting, or commercial advisory roles directly supporting enterprise B2B software or SaaS sales across pre-sales, late-stage deals, and post-sale expansion.
  • Proven track record of personally owning ROI models and business cases that influenced $1M+ enterprise deals involving CFO, finance, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Strong hands-on financial modeling expertise, including NPV, IRR, TCO, payback, cost-per-interaction, and multi-year investment scenarios—able to explain, defend, and adjust assumptions live with executives.
  • Experience operating in complex, ambiguous enterprise environments with incomplete data, tight timelines, and multi-stakeholder buying committees.
  • Ability to confidently engage and communicate with senior stakeholders, demonstrating  presence and strong storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, compelling business narratives.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for multi-scenario financial modeling, combined with strong presentation and visualization capabilities.
  • High autonomy and self-starter mindset, with comfort operating independently while partnering closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and GTM teams.
  • Direct experience owning value engineering engagements in live enterprise software sales environments.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Industry expertise in Travel, Insurance, Healthcare, Financial Services, or Retail, particularly in environments with large-scale customer operations.
  • Experience with contact center operations or enterprise CX technology ecosystems (e.g. CCaaS, CRM, workforce management, analytics platforms).
  • Background at enterprise SaaS or AI companies, or in customer-facing roles at top-tier consulting firms supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
