Senior Automation QA Engineer (Gaming & E-commerce Platform)

We are preparing for launch and building a world-class product team. To strengthen our platform’s quality, we are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer with strong experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or gaming platforms.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans for web and backend systems (desktop project + adaptive mobile).
• Design, set up, and maintain the test automation framework (flexible stack – Java, Python, or other suitable technologies).
• Ensure product quality across user flows: sign-up, checkout, payments, orders, and booster dashboards.
• Define and maintain test documentation in QASE: test cases, bug reports, release checklists.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and APIs.
• Use Postman and Swagger for API testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify risks and proactively suggest improvements to QA processes and release pipelines.
• Own the QA process end-to-end: from planning to release validation and post-launch monitoring.

Essential professional experience:

• 4+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in e-commerce, marketplace, or gaming platforms.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test automation (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and bug tracking/documentation tools (Asana, Confluence).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL for database validation.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of payment flows, cart/checkout, and order management systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to reproduce complex bugs.
• Excellent communication skills in Russian and English, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-have

• Experience testing gaming platforms, in-game marketplaces, or boosting services.
• Background in performance/load testing (JMeter, Locust).
• Previous startup or high-growth marketplace experience.
