Paradox Cat GmbH is a specialist software development partner in the area of real-time graphics from Munich, Germany. As a partner and supplier of various premium automotive manufacturers, we support graphical interface development for high-end in-car cluster instruments and infotainment systems. In addition to this, PARADOX CAT GmbH has increasingly participated in Proof of Concept projects and feasibility studies in the Human Machine Interaction (HMI) spectrum. Here, we focus on the implementation of new emerging technologies and their usability and implementation in the car of the future.

 

Job intro

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Manager / Executive Assistant to shape our Bucharest office and culture. You’ll be the go-to person for everything from office administration to creating a vibrant, welcoming workspace. If you’re highly organized, people-focused, and love getting things done — this role is for you.

 

You will:

  • Be the good soul of the office - someone people turn to, trust, and feel supported by, through creating a warm, organized, and inviting office atmosphere
  • Help shape and establish our company culture in Romania - especially within the Bucharest office - and fostering an environment that encourages collaboration, trust, and creativity
  • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day office issues and the "small things" that matter
  • Handle HR-related tasks (e.g. onboarding new employees), with solid knowledge of Romanian HR and legal requirements
  • Manage and coordinate office supplies as well as services such as cleaning, security, and workplace safety
  • Take ownership of administrative processes like reimbursements, business travel coordination, and document handling
  • Plan and coordinate team events and initiatives that bring people together
  • Foster efficiency in daily operations and continuously improving office processes
  • Support and oversee office expansion and operational growth

 

You have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in office management, HR, or as executive assistant / chief of staff
  • Fluent in Romanian (C1+) and English (B2+)
  • Experience in Romanian HR and labor law
  • Background in Business Administration, HR, Economics, or a related field
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset and high attention to detail
  • A passion for building team culture and making things better every day

 

Nice to have:

  • Speak some German (B1+ level) – it’s not a must, but it helps in our cross-border collaboration
