KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Head of Financial Institutions & Banks Sales,will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for acquiring and growing relationships with financial institutions, banks, and payment partners. You will spearhead business development efforts, identify new revenue opportunities, and ensure the growth of our payment solutions within the financial services industry. This role requires a strong understanding of financial institutions’ needs, market trends, and the ability to work cross-functionally to align product offerings with client requirements. 

- Develop and execute sales strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting financial institutions, banks, and payment service providers

- New business acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.

- Relationship management: Build, maintain, and strengthen strategic partnerships with financial institutions, banks, and industry influencers.

- Revenue growth: Drive significant revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new customers within the financial sector.

- Market insights & positioning: Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and feedback to product and marketing teams to shape the product roadmap and ensure competitive positioning. - Negotiation & deal closure: Lead negotiations, create tailored proposals, and close deals with key financial institutions and partners.

- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and success in delivering tailored solutions.

- Reporting & performance tracking: Develop sales forecasts, track KPIs, and report on sales performance to executive leadership.

- Team leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and personal development. 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales within the fintech, payments, or financial services sectors, with a proven track record of building relationships and driving significant revenue from banks and financial institutions.

- Leadership: At least 5 years of experience leading and managing sales teams, with a focus on financial institutions anenterprise-level clients. 

- Industry knowledge: Deep understanding of financial services, banking operations, and the payments landscape, including trends, regulations, and emerging technologies (e.g., digital payments, blockchain, open banking). 

- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

- Results-driven: Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, meeting/exceeding sales targets, and closing complex deals in a competitive environment.

other: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, events, and industry conferences.
