International Payments Specialist

You will be part of the team that is responsible of managing the international payment system, both ensuring the proper performance of the current functionalities and managing projects to develope new ones due to continuous improvement or business/regulatory requirements.

 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

-Collect and analyse business requirements related to international payments and FX. This will include knowing the flow of MT and/or ISO 20022 payment and reporting messages or APIs

- Clearly and unambiguously document the requirement specifications, data models, data definitions, user stories, use cases, data flows, boundary conditions, exceptions, test and acceptance criteria, etc...

- Challenge the status quo, and think out of the box for alternative/most efficient solutions

- Understand technological and business data trends in own area of responsibility and apply this knowledge to bring solutions to your customers

- On the applications under your responsible, you will develop and maintain test specifications, test cases, sets of regression tests, in an accurate and timely manner

- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. Track project costs in order to meet budget.

- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution. Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- You have 6/7 years financial industry experience gained in financial institution, consultancy, service provider, industry association, software vendor or similar, ideally in a technical and/or business analyst role.

- Education: Engineering, Business Administration or similar.

- Technical Skills: International Payments knowledge. Lenguages: Spanish (fluent), English (C1/C2). Analytical Skills.
