WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be leading a squad of engineers the ‘Anchor’ works as a developer and the technical leader of the team. They have a strong technical background and are involved in solution design, the Anchor will have strong product knowledge.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

  • Be comfortable with full stack engineering with back end focus.
  • Provides the technical solution to different requirements submitted by the PO
  • Implementation of new functionalities based on requirements / scenarios captured in user stories
  • Support squad’s products on its way to (and including) production
  • Able to own architectural and design decisions during the whole lifecycle of the software
  • Able to provide support to different stakeholders daily, included production support
  • Ensure the quality of engineering for the team.
  • Provides feedback to developer, code reviews, pairing.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • 7 years experience in engineering, ideally with payments knowledge of ISO20022, SWIFT MX/MT or uk payments schemes. Ideally in the field of microserivce architecture, AWS Cloud.

 

EDUCATION

  • Degree Educated

 

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of ISO20022. Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript. 
Cloud services: AWS, Services: Restful APIs, Graphql, SSE, Websockets, Webhooks
Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot Testing: Gatling, Junit. Traffic & API Apigee, Compute: Kubernetes, or pivotal cloud foundry
CI/CD & IaC: Jenkins, DevOps, GithubActions, Databases: MySql, Oracle, SQL Server, Elastic search, Kafka, ActiveMQ, Amazon SNS/SQS, Grafana, Kibana, SonarQube,Source Control: Git, Github

 

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Based in Milton Keyens office with occiational requirement to come to London office. Travel to Madrid would be required for offsites and meetings.
