Controlling Associate

THE ROLE:

The Controlling Associate is part of the Global Controlling team responsible for supporting the build out of the internal controls office within finance through: 1) co-leading the implementation throughout the different units of Getnet, 2) implementing within Finance a robust assurance process on financial controls

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

We are looking for a Controlling Analyst with a strong background in accounting, audit, internal controls or related. This finance talent will live and breath the following responsibilities:

- Design & implement internal controls at group level

- Monitoring & challenge the effectiveness of the 1LoD Controls, including the necessary of the mitigation actions.

- Perform data analysis as part of internal control assurance program

- Explore and leverage as much as possible data analysis tools and technologies

- Prepare accounting analysis including proper audit trail to underlying source documentation

- Perform validations over accounting entries and records. Collaborate with the operational accounting team

- Roll-out internal control better/best practices to other countries

- Support global controlling leadership in assuring internal control consistency across countries

EXPERIENCE

- External or internal audit experience

- Knowledge of internal controls and related regulations (COSO)

- Knowledge of accounting (IFRS, Spanish GAAP)

- Detailed oriented; works in order and structure

- English and Spanish required (minimum C1). Portuguese is a nice to have

- Previous experience in internal control teams will be valued as a plus
