📌 What you’ll do

Responsible for designing, guiding, and implementing robust, secure, and scalable technical solutions in a cloud-native environment based on AWS and Kubernetes. Works closely with development, platform, operations, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure compliance with corporate technical principles, patterns, and standards.

Key Requirements

Technical Knowledge

• Modern software architecture: microservices-oriented design, APIs, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design (DDD), hexagonal architecture.
• Development best practices: SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, Clean Code, Design Patterns (GoF), 12-Factor App.
• DevOps / GitOps / DevSecOps:
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using GitHub Actions (or equivalent).
  • GitOps with ArgoCD.
  • Pipeline security and technical compliance validation.
• Cloud:
  • Strong experience with AWS (S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Containers and orchestration:
  • Strong Kubernetes expertise (preferably on EKS).
  • Configuration and deployment management with Helm.
• Observability and monitoring:
  • Use of tools such as Dynatrace, Elastic, and PagerDuty for tracing, metrics, logs, and alerting.
• Integration and messaging:
  • Experience with Confluent (Kafka) and/or RabbitMQ.
• Software lifecycle management:
  • Version control (GitHub), code reviews, ADRs (Architecture Decision Records).

 

Professional Competencies

• Ability to define technical standards and review solutions against architectural principles.
• Experience in technical governance and software quality validation.
• Close collaboration with functional, technical, integration, and data architecture teams.
• Strong focus on automation and efficiency.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Nice to Have / Desirable

• Kubernetes certifications and proven experience (CKA, CKAD, CKS).
• Experience with Argo Workflows, Crossplane, OPA/Gatekeeper, or Kyverno (policy as code).
• AWS certifications (Architect Associate / Professional).
• Knowledge of cloud-native security (IAM, KMS, security scanning, compliance).
• Experience with enterprise CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Concourse, Jenkins, etc.).
• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, technical documentation, and ADRs.
• Knowledge of Backstage or component catalogs.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development or DevOps engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in architectural design or as a Technical Lead / Software Architect / DevOps Architect / SRE Architect.
