📌 What you’ll do

 

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our SRE team, responsible for ensuring stability, performance, and scalability of the platform deployed in AWS Public cloud. We work on continuous improvement of a critical ecosystem with lot of pieces: Apigee(Hybrid), Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Kafka(Confluent), Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, AWS (S3, Transfer Family, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch).

 

✅ What we’re looking for

 

• Ensure platform availability and reliability through process automation and monitoring.
• Operate, maintain, and develop solutions in our monitoring and alerting tools: Dynatrace, ELK, PagerDuty. Monitoring as code.
• Provide quick response, troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents operating in any piece of the environment.
• Collaborate with platform and engineering teams in the definition of resilient and scalable solutions.
• Define and develop SLI’s & SLO’s to monitor trends, collaborate with engineering teams to ensure observability, traceability, and resilience of the services.
• Develop tools to speed response time or minimize outages during incidents.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with platform and engineering teams in post incident activites.

 

✅Technical Requisites

 

• Demonstrable experience as SRE, DevOps, or similar in production environments
• Advance Knowledge in Kubernetes, Databases, Messaging/streaming services, AWS services.
• Knowledge and experience in Terraform, Helm, or similar.

 

✅ Personal

 

• High resolution capacity focused in service stability and business operations.
• Availability to be involved in an on-call 24x7 rotation for 1-2 weeks a month
• Proactive, with a team collaboration approach.

 

 

✅ Appreciated

• Certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, Confluent)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Previous experience in similar environments (Banking, insurance, telecom)
• Previous experience with monitoring tools as Dynatrace
• IT, engineering or similar Degree
