Should have experience in Payments domain: Domestic and International Payments, Payment routing, Cheques, Clearing & Settlement Systems(RTGS, Giro, Fedwire, BACS, CHAPS), SWIFT, Standing Instructions, Direct Debits, Bulk Payments, SEPA, Payment formats (EDI, SWIFT, SAP iDOC, ISO20022 XML, NACHA etc)

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Cultivate and build long term relationships with senior executive clients (i.e., C-suite, Business heads, VPs) of companies in the Financial Services Sector (Payment's transformation)
  • Perform as a subject matter expert for payment solutions transformation programs and advise, shape and provide solutions to business challenges presented by the client.
  • Lead a team of consultants and business analysts for the end-to-end payment transformation program for US and cross-border payment schemes with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate with Business units, Operation Units, Technology partners in ensuring end-to-end system and process delivery
  • Work closely with the payments practice lead, developing payment offerings and supporting the Go to market plan.

Relevant experience

  • Experience of requirement gathering at client site and creating IDD, BRD etc
  • Analysis of requirements, creating Functional Specification
  • Definition of Process flows, User Interface and Reports based on requirements
  • Should participate in Interface Study (File and Real Time interfaces)
  • Participate in demos and requirements discussions to prospective clients
  • Provide functional and domain related inputs for creation of responses to RFPs
  • Participate in consulting assignments in the area of Payments including coverage of channels and core banking.
  • Understand Business and Operations pain areas in the area of Payments Processing, analyse and provide possible solution
  • Provide solutions to enhance Operational Efficiency, Reduce Cost, Control Risk and create value-added differentiators for the customers
  • Create solution presentations and present them to the clients
  • Research recent advances in Payments Business and Technology on an on-going basis
  • Author whitepapers about topics relavant to the Payments domain
  • Contribute to creation of speaker presentations about Payments for specific events
  • Contribute to the thought leadership in the company
  • Provide inputs and guidance to roadmap for the Intellect Payments Products

Skills

  • Excellent Payment domain skills, preferably a background of a banker in the Payments area or a BA for top banking sector clients in a top IT firm
  • Experience of working as Business Analysis in the Payments Space on at least 2 large project of 1+ year duration
  • Proven analytical skills, demonstrated in earlier engagements with Tier 1 customers
  • Ability to understand Business requirements, appreciate the pain areas and create apt solutions
  • Solutioning skills and experience of large scale solution design on at least 2 projects
  • Knowledge of and experience of working with multiple Payment schemes across the world
  • Familiarity with regulations like PSD, AML, OFAC

  • Should also possess basic understanding of Collections, Receivables and Liquidity
  • Ability to communicate effectively, good presentation skills
  • Good written communications
  • Good personality, confident in mannerism and speech, passionate about area of expertise

What you’ll do

As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with operations and technical teams to demonstrate the art of the possible with the Payments Hub Platform, and design robust technical solutions to enable payment transactions, manage money movements and simplify financial operational processes within our customers

Responsibilities

  •  Engage with Chief Technical Officers, engineering leads, and other technical leads at key users to share technology roadmaps, demonstrate the capabilities and define a technical solution to solve problems
  • Lead technical discussions and solution deep dives with users and technical teams
  • Serve as an advocate for your customers internally, to ensure their needs are represented with product engineering and to influence product direction and priorities.
  • Create technical content (reference architectures, demos, etc.) to share with users as well as speak as a thought leader at industry conferences.   

Who you are

You will be an experienced technologist with a blend of technical depth, payments expertise and strong business consulting skills.  You can write code but prefer to spend your time working with users to create solutions to support customer business objectives in complex, mission critical environments.  You will think strategically about the art of the possible for the user’s business, and be able to clearly articulate that in a way that informs and builds confidence in Payments Hub technology.

You should be able to engage and motivate cross-functionally both internally and within our customer’s organisations at all levels, from Cx to Product Engineering.  You will have a track record of delivering exceptional customer results but a history of deep technical work that gives you the ability to be credible with any audience.

Minimum requirements

  • 7 years work experience or equivalent in any mixture of roles including pre-sales, technical architecture (application, technical, systems, integration), technical consulting, application delivery or technical engineering role, with at least 3 years in a customer facing pre-sales role.
  • Possess strong technical knowledge in software architecture, have breadth across technology stacks with deep hands on skills, and comfortable talking about technical concepts and explaining how they work, both from a product feature and API architecture perspective
  • Ability to write code 
  • Experience with Banks and other large enterprise customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including presenting to large audiences.

Preferred qualifications

  •  A background in payments systems and e-commerce solutions
