
Business Development Manager

This position is for the Payments Hub team. We are currently extending our cloud native payments processing platform to Santander banks and other financial institutions, with the aim of providing a single access to most domestic and international payment methods at global scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you a business developer with a hunter soul? If you want to make an impact in the ~$1T, and growing, payouts global market, you have an interesting opportunity within PagoNxt. This hunting role will give you the opportunity of helping large corporates to optimize and expand their cross border payments solutions as the Embedded Finance landscape gains traction.
- Grow and lever your existing network within the EU payments ecosystem (focusing on corporates)
- Identify new prospects & use cases through research and collaboration with your team, network and other external & internal stakeholders
- Connect with identified prospects to improve and/or expand their cross border payments offering and foreign exchange capabilities
- Own the full sales cycle, from lead creation and nurturing to close, live and ramp up/revenue
- Represent PagoNxt at conferences and events to expand market presence and generate opportunities New business acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations.
- Relationship management, Revenue Growth & Market insights and positioning.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with GetNet (acquiring arm of PagoNxt), Santander Retail & Commercial Bank, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and success in delivering tailored solutions.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Experience
At least 5 years of Sales experience in the payments industry, specially cross border payouts and fx related solutions. Accountable for all the sales proccess, from lead generation to signing and ramp up.
Education

Technical Skills
1. Strategic thinking to set and execute commercial strategies
2. Strong sales ability with payments and fintech industry experience. Consultative selling approach
3. Revenue driven individual with flexibility to adapt to challenges and win
4. Ownership and accountability with initiative and willingness to thrive in a highly competitive and expanding market
5. Attention to detail and C-level communication skills including written, verbal and advanced listening skills
Other relevant information
Focus on Iberia & rest of EU payments ecosystem. Role based in Madrid, Spain. Desirable and valuable an exisitng network of fintech, Payment Service Providers and other payments related companies.
