Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised and ambitious Marketing Executive to take ownership of a number of high-profile strategic marketing projects that are central to Oxford Royale's growth and brand development – spanning brand storytelling and video content, research and insight, and campaigns built around our academic community. Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director and Project Manager, you will coordinate activity across departments and with external partners, ensuring deadlines, deliverables and project objectives are achieved to an exceptional standard.

This role would suit someone at an early stage of their marketing career who is intellectually curious, highly motivated, commercially aware and eager to take ownership of meaningful projects from day one. It is an excellent opportunity to build experience in marketing, brand management, project management and strategic communications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the day-to-day coordination of high-profile brand and marketing projects, working with project leads across the business to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Managing the delivery of research and insight projects, working with external agencies to coordinate research, data collection, reporting and supporting materials.
  • Coordinating the production of video and brand content, working with internal stakeholders, production partners and senior management.
  • Creating and maintaining project plans with the Project Manager, and updating timelines, action trackers and progress reports across all key initiatives.
  • Communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership, faculty members, students, alumni, agents, suppliers and external partners.
  • Organising meetings, preparing agendas, documenting actions and ensuring follow-up tasks are completed.
  • Researching, gathering and organising information required for project deliverables and marketing materials, including coordinating interviews, collecting testimonials and sourcing case studies.
  • Identifying risks, bottlenecks or delays and proactively finding solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Supporting wider marketing initiatives and strategic projects as required, maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and professionalism across all outputs.

Person Specification

  • A strong academic background, educated to degree level or with equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards, prioritising effectively and working well under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence communicating with people at all levels, from students and graduates to senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • A proactive, hardworking and self-motivated attitude, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Strong research and information-gathering skills.
  • A professional and confident approach when representing Oxford Royale externally.
  • The ability to work collaboratively while also managing responsibilities independently.
  • Desirable: previous internship or work experience in marketing, project management, communications, events or consulting; experience coordinating multiple stakeholders; experience with research, interviews or data collection; experience with video, content or brand-related projects; an interest in education and international experiences.

Position Details

  • Contract: Permanent, with an immediate start.
  • Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Location: Oxford Head Office, with hybrid working in line with company policy.
  • Annual leave: 32 days inclusive of public and bank holidays.
  • Benefits: participation in a discretionary annual bonus scheme; Employee Assistance Programme; fully stocked fruit, winter and summer social events; team-building events; electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme; cycle to work salary sacrifice scheme; free parking.
