About the opportunity
We are looking for a client-obsessed Account Manager to join our growing Tokyo team and play a key role in driving success for performance-led campaigns in Japan.
As an Account Manager, you’ll be the key contact for some of Japan’s most exciting advertisers. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of live campaigns, optimize performance, and build relationships that go beyond delivery.

What will you do?
- Oversee the operational setup and delivery of digital campaigns on Teads, including asset implementation, tracking, QA, and inventory management.
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance in real-time, aligned to client KPIs such as Cost-Per-Acquisition (CPA), leads, or other key outcomes.
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and collaborate with internal technical teams where needed.
- Act as the primary contact post-sale, delivering campaign insights and optimization strategies that ensure client success.
- Understand and align Teads’ solutions to client goals, tailoring campaign strategies for measurable results.
- Build strong client relationships through regular performance reviews, proactive support, and consultative advice.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional Teads products and solutions to current clients, turning test campaigns into always-on partnerships.
- Support the commercial team in the onboarding and transition of new clients, helping them see success from their first campaign.
- Partner with sales to convert new opportunities into long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Creative, Operations, and Global Support) to ensure seamless service and delivery.
- Deliver clear and compelling reports on campaign performance and ROI.
- Leverage data from multiple platforms to uncover trends, optimization areas, and strategic recommendations.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, media buying, or campaign operations.
- Solid understanding of digital performance marketing and campaign delivery.
Strong client-facing communication skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. - Commercially savvy with a hunter mindset to grow existing accounts and identify upsell opportunities.
- Fluent-level Japanese with business-level English (or willingness to develop English proficiency).
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
