About the opportunity

Are you passionate about technology and interested in solving complex challenges? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Technical Support team at Teads. The role is based in New York City, and as a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional technical support to our clients worldwide, ensuring the success of our products and services.

By joining us, you'll have the chance to closely collaborate with experts who are pushing the boundaries of recommendation technology in the open web across multiple fronts.

 

What will you do?

As a Technical Support Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver advanced technical support to our global clients, ensuring that cases are prioritized and handled within the predefined SLAs. You will act as a go-to person for technical matters, both directly and indirectly related to your work. By collaborating with our R&D, AdOps, Account Managers, and Product teams, you will help create and maintain strong collaboration efforts that are essential to our ongoing success.

You will:

  • Provide advanced technical support to our clients globally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex technical and analytical challenges.
  • Work closely with account managers to offer technical support for accounts of big and globally known brands.
  • Conduct calls with clients to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Share insights and ideas that contribute to the improvement of our products and services.
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to various technical issues escalated by the AdOps team.
  • Ensure that issues reported through different communication platforms (such as Slack, Salesforce, email, etc.) are promptly addressed and resolved.
  • Use your technical skills to ensure campaigns, pixels, and creatives are set up correctly.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting by pulling data from our database, analyzing it, and providing tailored solutions, insights, and data to marketers.

 

What will you bring to the team?

  • Demonstrated expertise in a technical support or engineering position, ideally in the ad tech sector, with strong skills in resolving technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • A passion for technology and a willingness to dive into complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple challenges with poise.
  • Familiarity with Spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and a willingness to learn more.
  • Proficiency with text editors such as VS Code, Sublime Text, Vim, or similar.
  • Good understanding of SQL and a strong desire to continuously self-learn.
  • Understanding of how the web works and its core elements particularly JavaScript and HTML.
  • Some knowledge of Chrome Developer Tool for debugging
  • Strong scripting skills in Javascript, Python, or others for automating manual tasks.
  • Basic understanding of Git, and command line commands
  • Proficiency in the English language. Additional language skills are an advantage.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in Adtech.
  • Some knowledge of Chrome Developer Tools for debugging
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Jira.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and/or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in working with APIs and familiarity with API exploration tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or other REST clients.

The base salary range is $65-$105K. Salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this role. Pay is based on various non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, and skills.
