We are searching for a DevOps Security Engineer to play a crucial role in the “DevOps” landscape, working closely with our security team,  responsible for the production operational aspects of our services.

 

About the opportunity 

As a DevOps Security Engineer at Teads, you will play a critical role in integrating robust security practices into our DevOps processes. You will work collaboratively with development and operations teams to ensure that our infrastructure and applications are secure, scalable, and resilient.

 

 

What will you do?

  • Security Integration: Design, implement, and maintain security best practices in a DevOps environment, integrating security tools and processes into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Infrastructure Security: Collaborate with infrastructure teams to secure cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring proper configurations and monitoring of systems.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure.
  • Automation: Develop and automate security controls, processes, and procedures using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Incident Response: Assist in the development and execution of security incident response plans, helping to assess and mitigate security incidents as they occur.

 

What will you bring to the team?

  • Proven experience in a DevOps or security-focused role, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, etc.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and firewalls.
  • Understanding of network security, application security, and data protection principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Linux system administration experience and good familiarity with Linux shell scripting
  • Familiarity with open source tools (such as Chef, Logstash, HAProxy)

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security, or similar.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and working within Agile teams.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
