Junior Customer Success Manager

Outbrain is seeking an energetic, customer- and data-obsessed Jr. Customer Success Manager to support and contribute to our Mid-Market performance team. You’ll work closely with the CSM team to help lead the success of our clients' Outbrain campaigns and provide thought leadership on content amplification strategies and optimization. You’ll build strong relationships and establish clear lines of communication with large agency clients, brands, and internal staff members.

 

The ideal candidate is a growth-oriented, energetic self-starter, proactive and committed to driving performance and creating new business opportunities by using analytical and problem-solving capabilities to assure flawless campaign execution.

 

A day in the life:

  • In your first month, you should find your bearings, begin to grasp the Outbrain products and start to build key internal and external relationships. You should feel comfortable navigating our internal systems and supporting our Sr. CSM of Key Accounts to drive revenue and strategic growth for our top accounts and new business
  • After three months, you’ll be a critical member of the CSM team, partnering with your CSM peers and Sales team to develop data-driven optimization strategies
  • When you finish up your first year, you’ll be an essential member of the New York customer success team, substantially contributing to the team’s success by supporting the daily workflow for your team’s accounts

 

What you'll bring:

  • 1-2+ years of digital media, agency, or adtech experience required. Media buying experience and performance marketing background preferred. Knowledge of 3rd party vendors and tools (DCM, impression pixels, click tags) and experience buying media on Outbrain or other native platforms is a plus
  • A go-getter attitude. You’re hungry to achieve revenue goals via upsells and renewals, and want to learn along the way
  • An obsession for detail and organization. You know that the devil is in the details, and you hold yourself to a high standard of organization.
  • An analytical disposition. You're comfortable manipulating and interpreting data to develop actionable insights
  • An optimistic attitude, strong passion for your work, intellectual curiosity and ability to positively influence your peers.
  • Ambition and curiosity. You are a resourceful, proactive go-getter with a growth mindset, who works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent storyteller & communication. You’re proficient in presentation software and are eager to learn how to present data-driven stories
  • Ability to work in the NYC office 3 days a week

The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 including on target earnings. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities.  In addition to salary, you may be eligible for an equity package, as well as our competitive benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Outbrain's total rewards package.
