System Analyst - Temporary

The Business Technologies Engineering Team is looking for an Engineering System Analyst and program manager passionate about turning business requirements into technical specifications. 

This role will play a central role in the implementation of requirements from a variety of stakeholders and managing the engineering pipeline

This position is a temporary role with a nine-month contract.

A day in the life

  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs across all layers: DB, processes, integration, monitor, and go live
  • Work closely with system owners, team leaders, product managers, project managers, developers, and QA
  • Investigate complex issues, identify and implement solutions
  • Lead small-medium projects
  • Participate in Continuous Delivery as part of an Agile Team to deliver a continuous flow of capabilities and valuable solutions that meet business needs and objectives
  • Validate business and technical requirements are met during the solution delivery process
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize requests for development
  • Maintain and manage team resources

What you’ll bring

  • 3 years of experience as a System Analyst working closely with developers and project managers
  • SQL is a must
  • Project Management - lead  small-medium projects
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, emails, presentations
  • Knowledge of financial processes
  • Experience in information systems technologies
  • Advantage for Experience in Data Analysis
  • Experience using Jira - Advantage
