Marketing Manager, JAPAC (6 Months Contract)

Outbrain is seeking an experienced Manager of Business Marketing to cover the JAPAC region, with a particular focus on tier 1 markets, such as Japan and China. This would be a 6 months contract and the role can be based in Singapore or in Tokyo (Japan).
Reporting to the Global Head of Business Marketing and International, you will execute a marketing plan in partnership with the other marketing departments, by aligning to the corporate marketing strategy and the Outbrain’s business objectives, executing locally to achieve KPIs and ensuring delivery of quarterly sales and growth targets. In collaboration with the regional sales organization, you will be the primary marketing leader for the JAPAC. It will require building and nurturing relationships with the regional sales teams to over-communicate and gain alignment on marketing plans. You will also oversee the JAPAC business marketing team budget
A day in the life:
- Acting as a business partner to our regional sales teams, the Business Marketing team accelerates pipeline and increases revenue through the execution of a regional marketing strategy in alignment with business priorities and in partnership with the broader Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams
- Oversee and drive brand awareness, product offering adoption and business marketing plans to support revenue objectives of growing the existing base and acquiring new customers
- Own execution of targeted marketing programs that include emailing campaigns, field and industry events, webinars, PR, and more
- Collaborate with global cross functional teams to ensure consistency across the Outbrain platforms
- Work closely with local & global sales teams to support topline business goals
- Manage relevant agencies and 3rd parties in the execution of programs
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customer success, and other teams to develop and execute marketing programs
- Track and measure all marketing programs and optimize resources against objectives and budget
What you'll bring:
- A proven track record in managing B2B marketing organizations across one or more JAPAC markets.
- A proven track records managing and executing events
- Past experience delivering, accelerating and expanding sales pipeline through regional marketing
- 3 to 5 years experience in marketing and communications
- Experience working in global teams
- Leadership qualities: create clarity, generate energy & demonstrate results
- Experience working in the Ad Tech industry and fast-paced environments a plus
- Experience executing field/geo-specific marketing plan(s)
- Experience managing budgets and contracts
- Experience working with creative and PR agencies
- Proficient in Japanese to support our Japan market
