Senior Account Executive, Programmatic

Outbrain is seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive, Programmatic for our Account Management team in the US. This role focuses on working with top-performance marketing clients in the Ad Tech world, specifically buying on on-demand side Platforms (DSP) in the programmatic space.
Entrepreneurially spirited, you will be responsible for driving revenue from the most tactical, smart, and bottom-line-focused set of marketers by leveraging tools from the industry’s leading content recommendations and native advertising company.

A day in the life
- Help customers achieve their goals and deepen relationships with clients through new initiatives and partnerships.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensure customer satisfaction, and develop strong relationships with customers.
- Work closely with sales management to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals, as well as identify emerging trends in the marketplace.
- Liaise with client services managers to manage client expectations effectively and ensure successful campaigns and installations.
- Travel as needed to attend industry events and meet with clients and partners.
- Provide key requirements to our technical and product management teams to continually increase our value proposition to partners.
- Sell multiple solutions to a given customer without confusing overall product messaging.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive long-term growth and client retention.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, to ensure client success and satisfaction.
What you’ll bring
- 3-4 years of experience in Programmatic buying - Must
- Experience in the supply side of the digital advertising industry is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of all performance KPIs, including CPA, CPL, and ROAS.
- Experience in managing and optimizing performance marketing campaigns.
- Strong contacts in the affiliate and direct response marketing world.
- Excellent presentation skills and a background in relationship-building.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing trends and the ability to explain product benefits in detail.
- Experience in structuring and negotiating deals in the digital media space.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor and identify campaign performance trends in data and generate reports.
- Ability to hold and maintain conversations with C-level executives and VPs across large performance marketing platforms.
- Ability to come up with new initiatives to increase client engagement and spending on the Outbrain DSP platform.
- Willingness to travel to clients across the country as part of the role.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about client needs and solutions.

The total compensation package for this role, inclusive of base salary and commission, is in the range of $116,000 to $145,000, The final offer will be determined based on factors including experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities, without discrimination.
