Role

In this role you will act as a trusted partner to political and military decision-makers while also ensuring that complex, high-stakes projects are successfully implemented and delivered internally.

The role requires excellent communication skills, political sensitivity, technical interest or domain knowledge and execution strength. You will represent our company at different levels of public institutions and ensure that our solutions are well understood, successfully adopted and operationalized.

 

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders in security authorities defense organizations, including operational users and strategic decision-makers.
  • Represent the company actively in front of political decision-makers, government agencies, associations, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring and analysis of political, regulatory and fiscal developments at state, national and European levels, in order to identify risks and opportunities for Orcrist.
  • Act as a credible partner for discussions around specific domain knowledge,  technology, data security, compliance, and sensitive operational requirements.
  • Identify and qualify defense opportunities.
  • Understand procurement processes, public tenders, and institutional decision-making structures, and actively support proposal and bid processes.

About You

  • Degree in economics, political science, public policy, or a related field. 
  • Relevant experience in defense sector consulting, public policy or government relations. 
  • Deep understanding of the European and national defense ecosystem, including institutional structures, decision-making processes, and sensitivities.
  • Established network within public authorities and defense institutions, or closely related environments.
  • Strong ability to build trust and credibility with senior political, military, and operational stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical, operational, and political perspectives.
  • High degree of ownership, resilience, and judgment in sensitive and high-pressure situations.
  • High level of technical affinity and the ability to quickly understand complex software products and system architectures.
  • Solid understanding of data protection, information security, and compliance requirements in public sector contexts.
  • Strategic, structured, and results-driven working style
  • C1+ in German and English is required
