Role Overview:
OET seeks an experienced Project Manager to develop and implement lean and effective project management methodologies tailored to our unique operational needs. This role involves both enhancing internal project management practices—including the development of materials and conducting training sessions—and managing multiple projects across knowledge-based initiatives (such as studies and consultancy) and software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various project management methodologies, particularly lean and agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Methodology Development:
- Develop and implement tailored project management methodologies that align with OET’s dynamic project environment.
- Support the selection and implementation of practices, policies, software, platforms and/or files for Project Management across the organization.
- Create comprehensive training materials and conduct sessions to elevate the project management capabilities within the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and refine methodologies to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

Multi-Project Management:
- Serve as the Project Manager for multiple projects, ranging from strategic studies and consultancy to software development initiatives.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and provide project updates to senior management.

Agile and Lean Practices:
- Implement and champion agile and lean project management practices across projects, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Six Sigma.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and showcases to ensure agile principles are properly executed.
- Adapt project management strategies to suit the fast-paced and flexible needs of OET’s projects.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders, ensuring expectations and project progress are well understood.
- Negotiate with stakeholders to set and manage project expectations and deliverables effectively.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with all project contributors and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or certifications in Agile methodologies (CSM, CSPO, or PMP-ACP) are a strong plus.
- Proven experience in project management, specifically in managing both knowledge-based and software development projects.
- Strong understanding and practical experience in Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and other project management methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
