Senior Digital Project Manager Web (m/f/d) - Munich

Your Tasks

• End-to-End Project Management: You take ownership of website relaunch projects from start to finish — from kick-off planning and resource allocation to budget management and successful go-live. You maintain a clear overview, identify risks early, and proactively drive solutions.
• Coordination of Internal and External Teams: You bring together Design, Development, SEO, and Content teams, ensuring alignment and keeping everyone informed about priorities, next steps, and project timelines.
• Quality Assurance: You have a strong eye for detail and understand what makes a high-quality website from both a technical and content perspective. You ensure that deliverables meet agreed requirements and quality standards.
• Process Development: You design and implement scalable internal processes and tools that increase the efficiency of our web projects and support sustainable growth as the number of projects increases.
• Stakeholder Communication and Consulting: You lead discussions with clients, internal teams, and external partners, providing proactive consulting, translating requirements into meaningful digital solutions, and clearly communicating when a proposed approach is not technically or commercially viable.
• Thinking of the Website as a Product: For you, a go-live is not the finish line but the starting point. You analyze performance data, derive insights from user behavior, and contribute concrete recommendations for continuous optimization and future development.
• Building Sustainable Solutions Instead of One-Off Fixes: You constantly challenge whether a solution should be implemented on a project-by-project basis or developed as a scalable structure that delivers long-term value. You actively encourage the team to make technical decisions that scale efficiently and prevent reinventing the wheel with every new project.

Your Profile

• Project Management Experience: You bring several years of experience in web or digital project management and have successfully led website relaunch projects independently from planning through execution.
• Technical Understanding: You possess a strong understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms, integrations, and tracking setups, and you understand how these components interact to create effective digital experiences.
• Web Expertise: You are familiar with current web best practices, understand UX principles, SEO fundamentals, and conversion metrics, and can use this knowledge to make informed decisions and confidently guide teams.
• Affinity for AI: You actively explore AI tools and automation opportunities, are interested in their potential within the digital and web landscape, and enjoy applying them in practice to improve processes and outcomes.
• Organization & Prioritization: Even during demanding project phases, you maintain a clear overview, set priorities effectively, and communicate transparently with a strong focus on solutions.
• Excellent Communication Skills: You can explain complex topics in a clear and understandable way, manage expectations professionally, and address challenging issues with confidence and diplomacy.
• Language Skills: You have excellent written and spoken German and English language skills.
• Agency or B2C Experience: You have experience working in an agency environment or with sophisticated B2C websites and understand the requirements and dynamics of complex digital projects.
