Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Based in Dubai and built on Base, OneAsset treats regulation as a core product feature, ensuring that on-chain ownership is legally enforceable and operationally disciplined.

The Role

As the Chief Product Officer, you will be the visionary architect of our RWA ecosystem. You will lead the transition from a "tech demo" mindset to a "financial product" reality. You aren't just managing an app; you are managing a complex intersection of legal engineering, smart contract logic, and institutional finance workflows. Your mission is to build the world’s most trusted interface for institutional-grade digital securities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for the OneAsset platform, including the ERC-4626 vault structures, compliance layers, and secondary market integrations.
  • Regulation-as-a-Product: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to bake jurisdictional requirements directly into the product logic (e.g., automated KYC/AML, transfer restrictions, and legal wrappers).
  • Institutional UX/UI: Lead the design of a user experience that satisfies both the "crypto-native" investor and the "trad-fi" institution, prioritising clarity, trust, and operational certainty.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of tokenised assets—from legal anchoring and minting to yield distribution and redemption.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Bridging the gap between our Engineering, Legal, and Business Development teams to ensure technical builds are legally sound and commercially viable.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the RWA stack, tracking innovations in DeFi composability (ERC-4626), Oracle integration, and regional regulatory shifts.

Qualifications

  • 10+ Years of Product Leadership: Proven experience in Fintech, WealthTech, or Asset Management. Experience in a startup-to-scaleup environment is a must.
  • Blockchain Depth: Deep understanding of Ethereum/L2 ecosystems, smart contract capabilities, and token standards. You should understand how "legal wrappers" interact with code.
  • Financial Literacy: Strong grasp of real estate finance, mortgage securitisation, or REIT structures.
  • Regulatory Fluency: Experience working within regulated frameworks (e.g., VARA, SEC, FCA). You view regulation as a competitive advantage rather than a hurdle.
  • Strategic Execution: Ability to move from high-level "vision" to granular product requirement documents (PRDs) that developers can execute with precision.

The ideal CPO for OneAsset is someone who understands that in the world of RWA, the product is the legal structure wrapped in code. You should be as comfortable talking to a real estate lawyer about deed transfers as you are talking to an engineer about gas optimisation and vault accounting.
