PR & Communications Manager

We are building in a category that is evolving quickly, and we’re looking for people who are excited by the opportunity to help shape it. As an early team member, you will work closely with leadership, take real ownership, and help define how OneAsset is positioned publicly across media, events, and market-facing communications.
Role Overview
We are looking for a PR & Communications Manager to own OneAsset’s public narrative across media, speaking opportunities, founder profiling, and external communications across the RWA and tokenised real estate space.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who writes clearly, thinks strategically, and knows how to position a serious startup with credibility in public. You should be able to turn company developments, market narratives, and founder perspectives into sharp external communications that strengthen the brand rather than add noise. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and leadership team, you will help shape OneAsset’s voice across media, speaking opportunities, founder thought leadership, and broader external communications. We’re looking for someone with strong English writing skills, solid PR or communications experience, sound market judgment, and the maturity to operate well in a fast-moving startup environment.
What You Will Own
PR & Media Outreach
- Draft and manage press releases, media pitches, founder angles, and external announcements
- Build and maintain a relevant media list across Web3, finance, fintech, real estate, and business outlets
- Pitch stories, thought-leadership angles, and commentary opportunities to journalists and editors
- Manage inbound media requests and coordinate timely responses
- Track media outreach, follow-ups, outcomes, and coverage
Founder & Executive Communications
- Support CEO and leadership positioning through thought-leadership topics, speaking pitches, interview prep, and quote development
- Draft and refine messaging for interviews, event appearances, and public opportunities
- Ensure leadership messaging is aligned with OneAsset’s broader positioning
Event & Speaking Opportunity Support
- Identify and reach out to relevant event organisers, media partners, and conference teams
- Draft speaker applications, topic proposals, and event-related messaging
- Coordinate follow-up and relationship management with event organisers where needed
- Support sponsorship and event communications from a messaging standpoint
Brand Narrative & Communications Alignment
- Help maintain consistency across external communications, PR angles, event messaging, and public-facing brand narrative
- Work with the Head of Marketing to ensure the company is positioned clearly, credibly, and consistently
- Translate product, market, and regulatory developments into messaging that is understandable and strategically useful
- Protect the brand from tone drift, weak framing, or opportunistic messaging
Reporting & Operational Management
- Maintain PR trackers, media lists, pitch logs, and event opportunity lists
- Submit regular updates on outreach activity, wins, pending opportunities, and risks
- Keep communication workflows organised and visible
- Flag media, event, or reputational risks early
What We’re Looking For
Core Skills
- 2–4+ years of experience in PR, communications, brand marketing, media relations, or content-led comms
- Strong writing ability in English, with the ability to write clearly, sharply, and professionally
- Experience pitching stories, media angles, founder profiles, or event opportunities
- Strong instinct for messaging, tone, and how to position a company credibly in public
- Ability to manage multiple communication threads without losing clarity or detail
- Good judgment on what is newsworthy, what is brand-safe, and what should be deprioritised
Market & Brand Understanding
- Strong understanding of financial markets, startup narratives, and ideally Web3 / tokenisation / fintech environments
- Ability to turn market developments into timely and relevant communications angles
- Strong understanding of branding and positioning, able to tell the difference between narrative-building and noise
- Sensitivity to institutional tone, reputation, and audience context
Execution & Working Style
- Organised, detail-oriented, and strong in follow-through
- Able to work independently and maintain momentum across outreach and communications workflows
- High ownership, low ego, and comfortable with feedback
- Comfortable operating in a startup environment where speed matters but quality is maintained
- Able to communicate clearly with founders, media contacts, and external stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience in RWAs, real estate, tokenisation, crypto, fintech, or regulated sectors
- Existing relationships with media or event organisers in relevant industries
- Experience working with founders, executives, or C-level spokespeople
- Experience managing PR agencies or external communications vendors
- Familiarity with LinkedIn thought leadership, bylines, or op-ed placement workflows

- OneAsset’s public narrative becomes more consistent, credible, and recognisable
- Media and event outreach becomes more proactive and structured
- Founder profiling improves and speaking opportunities become more targeted
- Press releases, pitches, and messaging assets are well-written and strategically useful
- External communications support trust and market positioning, not just visibility
- The role reduces narrative burden on the Head of Marketing by taking ownership of PR execution and external messaging workflows
Important Note
This is not a spray-and-pray PR role. We are looking for someone who can think beyond announcements and help shape how the company is understood in the market.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with sharp judgment, strong writing, and the ability to build credibility through disciplined, well-positioned outreach.
