Product Manager / Business Analyst
OneAsset is a regulated Real-World Asset (RWA) platform designed for compliant on-chain tokenisation, yield distribution, secondary trading, and governance of real estate and private assets. Built as a modular system, OneAsset operates under strict requirements for precision, auditability, and regulatory clarity. Consequently, product documentation and execution quality are treated as system-critical components.
Role Overview
The Product Manager / Business Analyst is a hybrid execution role responsible for converting OneAsset’s product vision, canonical rules, and compliance constraints into clear, testable, and engineer-ready specifications.
The objectives of this role are to:
-
Eliminate ambiguity between strategic intent and technical implementation.
-
Protect delivery velocity without sacrificing system correctness.
-
Ensure that MVP and post-MVP features are coherent, auditable, and scalable.
This is a hands-on product execution role with direct accountability for delivery quality, rather than a "roadmap-only" PM or a "documentation-only" BA position.
Core Responsibilities
1. Product Scope & Flow Ownership
-
Define and document end-to-end product flows, including property listings, wallet onboarding, portfolio visibility, and settlement states.
-
Ensure all flows explicitly define preconditions, user actions, system responses, and state transitions.
-
Maintain a clear distinction between MVP scope, Alpha/Beta extensions, and Mainnet-ready behavior.
2. Business Analysis & Requirements Definition
-
Translate product intent into functional requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
-
Ensure every ticket specifies "happy path" and "non-happy path" behaviors, error states, and data dependencies.
-
Proactively identify edge cases, compliance-driven constraints, and cross-module dependencies to prevent undefined behaviors.
3. Delivery Enablement & Cross-Team Alignment
-
Serve as the single source of truth for product logic and behavior.
-
Collaborate daily with Frontend (UI states), Backend/Blockchain (logic sequencing), Design (intent clarity), and QA (testability).
-
Resolve ambiguities early in the lifecycle to avoid late-stage rework.
4. Compliance & Audit Readiness
-
Ensure product behaviour accurately reflects KYC/KYB outcomes, tier gating, and jurisdictional constraints.
-
Support regulatory and audit walkthroughs by maintaining clear flow documentation and ensuring consistent product behavior.
-
Flag risks or logic inconsistencies early to the CPO and Compliance teams.
5. QA Enablement & Defect Triage
-
Empower the QA team by providing clear acceptance criteria, defined state matrices, and expected outcomes per scenario.
-
Participate in defect triage by assessing user/compliance impact and prioritizing fixes based on launch risk.
-
Ensure all bug fixes align with the original product intent.
Phase-Specific Focus
-
Launch Phase (March – April): Lock current scope and flows immediately; prevent scope creep while ensuring the system is fully operable rather than "demo-only."
-
Post-Launch → Mainnet (May – July): Maintain continuity of product logic as new modules are added; ensure Alpha/Beta features extend existing behaviors cleanly.
Experience & Skills Required
Required:
-
4–8+ years of experience in a PM, BA, or hybrid PM/BA role.
-
Proven experience working alongside engineering and design teams on complex, state-driven systems.
-
Strong ability to write precise technical requirements and think critically about edge cases.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
-
Experience in Fintech, Web3, DeFi, or regulated financial products.
-
Familiarity with digital wallets, custody solutions, or institutional financial workflows.
-
Experience supporting audit-ready or regulator-facing product documentation.
