Global Fleet and Facility Manager

Your challenge

As a Global Fleet and Facility manager you will be responsible for Mobility and Facility management.

You are responsible for Mobility and Facility management:

Facility Management:

  • Provide strategic oversight and support to the Facility Manager, who is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all office facilities worldwide.
  • Supervise management of the company-owned office buildings in Belgium, ensuring optimal functionality, maintenance, and space utilization.
  • Take charge of the overall project management to transform our newly acquired building in Belgium into a fully operational office space.
  • Oversee rented office spaces in Belgium and international affiliates, ensuring lease agreements align with operational needs and budget considerations.
  • Provide high-level supervision on facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Promote and guide sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements across all locations together with HR, Security, Legal and Health & Safety responsibles.
  • Collaborate closely with IT to secure seamless integration of facility-related technology needs.

 

Mobility Management:

  • Lead the global mobility strategy, ensuring optimal vehicle utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage the company-owned fleet in Belgium (approx. 600 vehicles), covering procurement, maintenance, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Oversee leased vehicle operations across international affiliates, ensuring alignment with company policies and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with HR to develop and implement mobility policies, including sustainability and alternative mobility solutions.
  • Manage contracts with car distributors, garages, leasing companies, and service providers globally.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international requirements.
  • Stay informed about evolving and emerging mobility technologies and policy trends to improve sustainability, compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Understand and assess the impact of financial, legal, and fiscal matters on TCO and fleet decisions.
  • Gradually assume full responsibility for fleet operations and management as part of the company’s succession planning.

As our new Global Fleet and Facility Manager, you’ll be part of the Internal Services team.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical field or in Business Administration with a strong technical affinity.
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role within a global organization.
  • Strong project management, team and people management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Ability to work across cultures, time zones and cross-functional.  
  • Willingness to work at least 2 to 3 days per week in the HQ office in Wommelgem (Antwerp) and to travel occasionally to different office locations.
  • Experience in facility, mobility, and fleet management best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch language is preferred; additional languages are a plus.
