The Role

We’re looking for a Finance Associate who’s early in their career but hungry to learn. You’ll be right in the middle of things - helping us stay financially sharp as we scale, while getting hands-on experience across all areas of startup finance.

This isn’t a role where you’ll just tick boxes. You’ll learn how a growing business actually runs - from accounting and reporting to budgeting, systems, and planning.

And because we’re invested in your growth, we’ll fund the rest of your accounting qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and management dashboards
• Support payroll with our external provider
• Keep track of expenses and budgets across the business
• Work with external accountants, auditors, and vendors
• Help us improve financial systems, tools, and processes as we grow
• Run ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions
• Support with onboarding and offboarding employees 

Who Are You?

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
• Working towards an accounting qualification (we’ll cover the rest)
• Around 2+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analyst role (internships count)
• Confident with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Xero (or similar) a plus
• Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and curious mindset
• Clear communicator, comfortable with change and problem-solving
• A team player who enjoys learning and taking ownership
• Can handle confidential information with care
