ABOUT THE ROLE:
The People & Culture Advisor is a role that blends hands on P&C operational delivery with genuine business partnering and advisory work. Reporting to the Head of P&C Operations and working closely with the wider P&C team, you will support the smooth running of core people processes globally while providing first line advisory support to managers and employees on topics such as employee relations, performance and policy interpretation. Based in Luton, with regular travel across all OAG locations, you will work with increasing autonomy, contribute to process improvements and help build a globally aligned, employee centred people function. It is an ideal opportunity for an HR professional looking to build a broad, internationally grounded foundation and develop towards a Business Partner career path.
This is a 12 month fixed-term contract providing maternity cover.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Deliver core P&C operational processes globally, including onboarding, offboarding, contract administration and employee lifecycle changes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance at every stage.
- Provide first line advisory support to managers and employees on P&C policies, procedures and employment matters, working with minimal guidance on day-to-day queries and escalating complex cases to senior colleagues.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee data across P&C systems, supporting payroll inputs and ensuring compliance with GDPR and data privacy standards across all jurisdictions.
- Support employee relations casework by preparing documentation, coordinating meetings and maintaining clear records, contributing to fair and consistent outcomes that reflect OAG’s values.
- Build strong working relationships with managers and employees across all OAG locations, acting as a trusted point of contact for everyday P&C questions and helping create a consistent employee experience worldwide.
- Contribute to P&C projects and improvement initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and supporting the implementation of policy updates and employee experience programmes.
- Support compliance with employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions, flagging emerging risks and helping keep documentation and policies up to date.
- Travel regularly between the UK (Luton and London) and Lithuania, applying processes consistently and sensitively across different cultural contexts.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- An advisory mindset and growing HR knowledge, with the confidence to support managers and employees on policy interpretation, employee relations and day-to-day people matters.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trust quickly with colleagues across different cultures, locations and seniority levels.
- International awareness and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to work effectively across multiple geographies and a willingness to travel regularly between the UK and Lithuania.
- Attention to detail and process orientation, able to manage multiple operational tasks accurately and maintain data integrity across P&C systems.
- A high degree of integrity and discretion, handling sensitive employee information confidentially and in line with GDPR and local data protection requirements.
- Curiosity and initiative: comfortable working with minimal guidance, proactively identifying improvements, and developing both operational and business partnering capabilities over time.
IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING THAT WOULD BE GREAT:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with P&C platforms such as Hibob, BambooHR or Rippling, or exposure to multi-jurisdiction employment law or payroll contexts.
- Experience working in or with an international organisation supporting employees across multiple countries, or a strong interest in developing global HR capability.
If you don’t meet every requirement but feel excited about this role, we’d still love to hear from you.
WE WILL OFFER YOU:
💡 You will proactively explore and adopt AI tools and automation in your day-to-day work, keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do. You will share learnings with your team and approach new technologies with curiosity and an open mind. At OAG, finding better ways to work and putting customers first is everyone's responsibility.
