Senior DevOps Engineer / Environment Solution Manager – HYBRID (Sant Cugat-Barcelona)

About the Role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the Solutions Lab environment: setup, stability, automation, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on technical lead role (not a people manager), with real ownership and a strong DevOps/environments focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Solutions Lab environment (setup, reliability, lifecycle, documentation).
  • Build and maintain automation and CI/CD pipelines supporting development and testing workflows.
  • Support integration and end-to-end validation by ensuring environments are stable, reproducible, and testable.
  • Troubleshoot environment and integration issues across an interconnected ecosystem.
  • Mentor and guide 2 interns (task breakdown, technical coaching, review habits, documentation culture).
  • Drive operational best practices (runbooks, monitoring, repeatability, quality gates).

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in DevOps / platform/environment ownership roles (or equivalent).
  • Strong CI/CD + automation mindset; comfortable owning tooling and making pragmatic decisions.
  • Experience dealing with integration-heavy systems and reliability problems end-to-end.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English and experience working in Agile environments.
