Accountant

We are looking for a motivated and diligent Accountant to support the growth of our global business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely general accounting and reporting activities, including journal entries, accrual calculations, and allocation postings
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
• Ensure the reliability and integrity of financial records in compliance with IFRS and applicable local accounting standards
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, automation, and internal controls

Skill Set and Qualifications:

• ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification
• 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting or audit, preferably within a multinational environment
• Strong technical knowledge and practical application of IFRS
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial management systems; experience with QuickBooks is an advantage
• Results-driven and committed to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a multicultural setting and collaborating with international teams across different time zones
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Based in Mauritius
