Numab Therapeutics AG is a Swiss‑headquartered biotechnology company based in Horgen, Zurich canton, dedicated to developing multi‑specific antibody‑based immunotherapies for cancer and inflammation. Using its proprietary λ‑Cap™ and MATCH™ technology platforms, Numab designs and engineers multi‑specific antibodies that combine best‑in‑class potency, stability, and pharmacokinetic properties.
The company has built a broad and differentiated pipeline of in‑house programs across immunology and oncology, and has established multiple collaborations with leading global pharmaceutical partners—underlining the scalability and external validation of its platform and business model. In 2024 the company completed a major transaction with Johnson & Johnson through the sale of its subsidiary (Yellow Jersey Therapeutics) which included rights to NM26‑2198 in a deal valued at approximately USD 1.25 billion. In early 2025, the Series C fundraising was extended to CHF 180 million to support several first- and best-in-class programs.
With a headcount of around 80 employees, Numab now enters an exciting phase of development.
Role Purpose
The Head of Clinical Operations is a senior leadership role within Numab Therapeutics, accountable for the strategic planning, execution and delivery of clinical programs across the pipeline. This individual will combine strong scientific engagement with operational excellence, leading the translation of clinical strategy into executable clinical trial plans.
The role requires a hands-on, accountable leader who takes ownership of clinical operations with a focus strategy and delivery, while remaining engaged in the operational details. The Head of Clinical Operations operates as a key member of the Numab senior team, shaping clinical strategy, influencing pipeline decisions and ensuring operational readiness to support pipeline growth.
Working in a fast-paced biotech environment, this individual will bridge execution and strategy, navigating seamlessly between study operations, Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) management and executive-level discussions. This individual will play a central role in ensuring the successful advancement of Numab’s pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall Clinical Operations strategy across the Numab pipeline
- Ensure alignment of Clinical Operations with corporate strategy and pipeline priorities
- Translate clinical and scientific strategy into robust operational plans
- Act as a core member of cross-functional program teams
- Engage in scientific discussions, contributing to decision-making beyond operational considerations
- Lead the operational execution of clinical trials across Numab’s pipeline
- Maintain accountability for timelines, budget, quality and delivery of clinical studies
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
- Build strong relationships with vendors, investigators and external partners
- Oversee vendor performance, deliverables and quality standards
- Negotiate and manage budgets, contracts and timelines
- Promote a quality-driven culture focused on patient safety and data integrity
- Ensure compliance with external and internal quality systems
- Lead preparation and review of regulatory and other study documents
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in life sciences
- At least 10-years experience in clinical operations within biotech/pharmaceutical industry, ideally within a small to mid-sized biotech environment with phase 1 and 2 experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering global clinical trials, on time and within budget
- Strong experience in CRO and vendor oversight
