About the role

Remote in EU, or hybrid in Barcelona, Palma, Dublin or Casablanca.

Nuitée is hiring a Senior Product Engineer to join a small Frontier / R&D team.

This team is focused on building new products and capabilities from 0 to 1. You’ll work on problems where the product, technical approach, and best path forward are still being figured out.

The role is backend-heavy and product-driven. You should be comfortable going from idea to design, implementation, and real usage, without waiting for detailed specs.

A good way to think of it is: you build the first version that proves something works.

The kind of problems you’ll work on:

• How do we take fragmented, inconsistent travel data and turn it into something we can serve reliably through a clean API?
• How do we structure and deliver large volumes of pricing data so partners can actually use it in real time?
• How do we validate the right product and technical approach before we scale it further?

This role fits someone who:

• is a senior and hands-on backend engineer, ideally with experience in Go (but we’re also interested in people from C#, Java, C++ or similar backgrounds who want to pick up Go)
• has built products or major features from scratch
• thinks in terms of outcomes and user value, not just implementation
• is comfortable working without clear specs or structure
• can make pragmatic tradeoffs and move fast
• has experience with APIs, data-heavy systems, or distributed environments
• takes ownership beyond their scope and pushes things forward

Nuitée is fast-moving, low on process, and high on ownership.

There are moments of real intensity when things need to ship. This works well for people who like building under pressure and having full responsibility. It is less suited to people who prefer structured environments and clearly defined scope from day one.
