Business Development Representative
About The Role:
The Business Development Representative, will be responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities, pipeline management and feeding into our Growth Strategy. This is a high-impact role, where the BD will help drive net new revenue, in our Data and AI Team and across our enterprise solutions. We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual who is passionate about contributing to a purpose led organisation.
In addition, the Representative will help expand our market presence and collaborate with teams in consultancy projects. The role requires strong customer relationship skills, to conduct market research and prospecting using Sales Force, generating high-quality leads and opportunities
The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and managing relationships in a dynamic and evolving business. We are looking to recruit a strong starter finisher, results driven, enjoys working to targets in a collaborative environment and lead the way in how we prospect new business.
This is a 6-month fixed term contract requiring 3 days per week in the Dublin 2 office
Responsibilities:
- Source and qualify business leads. Identify new market opportunities and build strategic partnerships
- Conduct proactive outreach to create and maintain a pipeline of potential clients
- Support, cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and prospects
- Identify untapped areas to target net new business growth
- Support the full sales cycle – collaborate with internal teams
- Develop deep knowledge of client’s business and market, evaluating trends and improving internal process to create long term, sustainable growth
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pursuit strategies and decision making
- Maintain & update CRM to track, leads, analyse and client interactions
- Contribute to the development & refinement of BD processes and best practice
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions & strategy workshops to foster innovation and continuous development
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports including a thorough analysis of the report findings
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a Lead Generation or Business Development role across multiple industries.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to engage with potential clients and craft engaging persuasive proposals
- A passion in harnessing and using data insights to create and refine outreach campaigns to customers.
- A genuine willingness to learn, drive and succeed in your career
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & CRM Strategies)
- A proactive self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic work environment demonstrating resilience and resourcefulness
