About the Role
Nucleo is seeking an experienced Senior Data Consultant to support one of our key clients on a major AI Programme. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication, analytical thinking, and an excellent understanding of modern data platforms and architecture.
The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure the data foundations, architecture, and governance frameworks are in place to enable trusted, scalable AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure data and architecture decisions align with AI programme goals.
- Define and oversee data architectures, integration patterns, and solution approaches across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, SQL, Power BI, Power Platform).
- Collaborate with development teams, providing guidance and review to ensure technical delivery meets design and governance standards.
- Contribute to data governance, metadata management, and data quality processes to ensure readiness for AI and analytics.
- Translate complex data concepts into clear, business-focused narratives and documentation.
- Represent Nucleo with professionalism and credibility in client meetings and workshops.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in data consulting, solution architecture, or analytics delivery.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft Azure data and analytics stack and Power Platform.
- Demonstrated experience in shaping or supporting data programmes that enable AI or advanced analytics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
Desirable
- Experience contributing to large transformation or AI/ML initiatives.
- Familiarity with modern data governance, quality, and lineage frameworks.
- Understanding of CI/CD and cloud delivery practices.
