Power BI Data Consultant

We are Nucleo. We are a team of dedicated consultants and specialists with extensive expertise and experience in fields of Business Change and Transformation, Data Analysis, Enterprise Asset Management solutions, Reporting & Business Intelligence (BI), Project Management.

We are a passionate and dynamic team working with clients in asset-intensive industries, helping them to problem-solve and operate more intelligently. As a owr BI Consultant at Nucleo, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports. You will manage client relationships, driving strategic development, enhancing operational efficiencies, and fostering a people focused culture within the organisation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate into technical solutions to ensure accuracy and integrity of visualizations at a time of growth and expansion.

We are looking for an experienced and agile leader who will adapt and implement processes in a fast-growing organisation where no two days are ever the same. You will act as a bridge between business needs and data-driven solutions, to empower organisations to make informed decisions on accurate and insightful data visualizations.

 

 Responsibilities: 

• Create and manage dynamic Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and transform them into clear user stories and impactful data visualizations.
• Communicate complex findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity in reports by applying meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive data validation processes.
• Maintain and support client analytics programmes. 
• Develop and maintain DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
• Write SQL queries in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Power Query editor to extract data from the database.
• Perform data wrangling, transformation, and cleansing to prepare datasets for reporting using SQL and Power Query Editor.

 

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Degree in computer science, data & analytics, business, or equivalent experience
• Fluency in English both written and verbal
• Extensive demonstrated experience using Microsoft Power BI, SQL and DAX
• Experience working Data Analytics' and reporting & consulting with senior Stakeholders
• Strong communicator with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven problem-solver, capable of working independently while also thriving in collaborative team environments.
• Extensive analytical skills including a specialist experience of Power BI
