As a Senior Delivery Manager in our consulting practice at Nucleo, we are seeking an experienced and agile people leader who will adapt and implement processes in a fast-growing organisation where no two days are ever the same. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading successful consulting projects and managing client relationships. As a key member of our Management team, the Consulting Senior Manager will play a critical role in driving business development, managing project delivery, and managing junior consultants. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead consulting engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction. 

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing strategic guidance and solutions. 

• Manage client expectations 

• Management of budget, finances and client contracts. 

• Drive business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and securing new client engagements. 

• Manage client accounts providing guidance and support to consultants to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely project completion. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement in service delivery. 

• Mentor and coach junior consultants, helping them develop their consulting skills and grow within the organization. 

• Managing and motivating client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. 

• Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. 

• Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. 

• Manage internal Nucleo initiatives, across either customer experience, strategy implementation or value proposition. 

• Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide thought leadership and strategic insights to clients. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant domain, MBA or advanced degree preferred. 

• 7+ years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on the utilities industry. 

• Proven track record of successfully leading consulting engagements and managing client relationships. 

• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute client strategies. 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders. 

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing project teams and mentoring junior consultants. 

• Strong data management skills, advanced in excel and SQL. 

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. 

• Willingness to travel as needed to client sites.
