About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Information Management Specialist to own release control for Energy & Power across all of its projects: submittal administration, the publication gate, governing revision, supersession, formal distribution, handover to Construction, and Engineering closeout.

This is the senior operational control role within Energy & Power Information Management. You will report to the Information Management & Systems Manager and work alongside the Information Management Specialist, who prepares records and release packages. You will be the final check before anything is published or distributed, making sure every drawing, document, and specification that leaves Engineering is approved, correctly numbered, at its governing revision, and sent only to eligible recipients.

Location: Houston, TX

What You'll Be Doing

Submittal administration and the publication gate

  • Create submittals, open the approved workflow to Discipline Leads, and close each submittal with the recorded comments and markups once approved.
  • Check each prepared release package at the publication gate for recorded technical approval, document number, governing revision, issue status, watermark on unsealed documents, completeness, and recipient eligibility.
  • Hold or return packages that fail the gate, document the reason, and escalate unresolved exceptions to the Director.

Publication, supersession, and distribution

  • Publish authorized E&P drawings, documents, and specifications to their designated Procore tools and supersede the prior governing revision.
  • Issue formal Procore Transmittals using the approved distribution matrix, and confirm that each recipient holds current access and a valid NDA in the access register before distribution.

Register control, handover, and closeout

  • Resolve numbering conflicts escalated by the Information Management Specialist and authorize register corrections; refer rule changes to the Director.
  • Verify publication and distribution evidence against the master document register.
  • Assemble and issue handover packages to Construction and design-data packages to Commissioning.
  • Manage Engineering closeout, retention, and Project Archive.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Information Management & Systems Manager to track all Energy & Power information.

About You

  • 12+ years in engineering or capital-project information or document control, including vendor deliverables, revision control, and formal distribution.
  • At least one year of hands-on Procore experience within an owner/host organization, not solely as an invited contractor. Account-provisioning authority is not required.
  • Knowledge of publication evidence, status conventions, supersession, transmittals, records retention, handover, and controlled-record integrity.

At Nscale, you'll find a collaborative, supportive, and innovative environment where your contributions spark real impact. We're building something extraordinary, and our people are driving it.

  • Highly competitive US compensation package (base + bonus + equity), with performance reviews every 12 months
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match

  • A career-defining opportunity to be an early member of one of the fastest growing AI infrastructure companies in the world
  • A human-first approach: We treat you as humans first. Our flexible workplace trusts Nscalers to deliver, giving you the autonomy needed to get the job done.
