The Role
We're seeking a Head of Brand to lead Nscale's multi-disciplinary creative team and define how the brand shows up across every dimension - visual, motion, and experiential. As we scale globally and build a new category in AI infrastructure, this role is responsible for creative vision, team leadership, and ensuring every brand touchpoint is consistent, compelling, and world-class.
This is a senior creative leadership role sitting at the intersection of brand strategy and execution. You'll directly manage and develop a team of brand, motion, and experiential designers, working closely with the Creative Director to evolve Nscale's brand identity and creative language. You'll shape not just how Nscale looks, but how it moves, how it feels spatially, and how it shows up in the world - from digital campaigns to flagship events and physical brand environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a multi-disciplinary team of brand, motion, and experiential designers - setting a high creative bar and building a culture of craft, ambition, and collaboration.
- Provide clear creative direction across all brand disciplines, ensuring output is consistently exceptional and aligned with Nscale's brand identity and strategic objectives.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to define team structure, hiring roadmap, and capability growth as Nscale scales.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering professional growth and a shared creative standard across disciplines.
- Own and evolve Nscale's visual identity - ensuring quality and consistency across all brand output, from digital and print to environmental and social.
- Maintain and develop the design system, component library, and asset library, ensuring they're scalable, accessible, and used consistently across the organisation.
- Establish design standards, templates, and governance across the marketing and creative function.
- Define and evolve Nscale's motion design language - setting standards for animation, transitions, and dynamic visual identity across digital, video, and live contexts.
- Direct the Motion Designer and ensure motion is a consistent, considered element of brand expression across every channel.
- Collaborate with the Video Producer and Creative Director to ensure motion integrates seamlessly into campaign and content output.
- Oversee the design of all brand experiences - from event environments, exhibition stands, and branded spaces to trade shows, launch events, and customer-facing physical touchpoints.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in brand, visual, or creative design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- An exceptional portfolio demonstrating mastery across brand identity, visual design, and ideally motion or experiential disciplines.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team of designers, with the ability to inspire, direct, and grow creative talent across disciplines.
- Deep understanding of brand identity systems and how they translate across visual, motion, and physical contexts.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - able to present and defend creative decisions with clarity and confidence at a senior level.
- Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, and production partners.
- Highly proficient in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite; experience with motion and experiential tools.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments where brand is being built and evolved at pace.
