The Role

We’re looking for an experienced in-house Immigration Specialist with strong US and/or global immigration expertise to support our growing global workforce. This role is deeply people-focused and operationally rigorous, delivering a high-quality, human-centered immigration experience in partnership with external legal counsel.

This fixed-term role offers the opportunity to help shape and scale a global immigration program in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, with exposure to complex cross-border challenges.

The Impact You’ll Have

You will be a trusted partner to employees, candidates, and managers during key transitions, including new hires, relocations, visa renewals, and sponsorship processes.

You will ensure compliance and operational excellence while delivering a seamless and supportive experience. Your work will directly enable Nscale to attract and retain global talent responsibly, ethically, and efficiently.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

Delivering an Exceptional Employee Experience

  • Act as the primary point of contact for immigration-related queries, providing clear, timely, and empathetic guidance
  • Support employees and candidates through complex and often sensitive processes with professionalism and care
  • Ensure individuals understand timelines, requirements, and next steps to reduce uncertainty
  • Manage difficult or high-stakes conversations with composure and compassion

Owning Immigration Operations with Excellence

  • Take end-to-end ownership of day-to-day case management across the US and/or international jurisdictions
  • Provide guidance on complex immigration matters in partnership with external legal counsel
  • Maintain accurate reporting and ensure compliance obligations are met
  • Proactively identify risks and implement solutions
  • Manage relationships with outside counsel and ensure service levels are met

Building Scalable, Human-Centered Processes

  • Identify opportunities to improve immigration processes and enhance employee experience
  • Document workflows and build tracking systems to drive transparency and accountability
  • Use data, reporting, and feedback to improve program effectiveness
  • Ensure external partners meet expected service standards

Partnering Across the Business

  • Collaborate with People, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and business leaders
  • Provide practical, easy-to-understand guidance on complex immigration regulations
  • Support stakeholders across a fast-paced, global organization
  • Contribute to shaping and scaling Nscale’s global immigration program

What You’ll Bring

  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of US and/or international immigration experience (in-house or service provider)
  • Strong knowledge of US and/or global immigration frameworks
  • Experience managing cases in partnership with external legal counsel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and sound judgment
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
  • A solutions-focused mindset with strong accountability

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting immigration in a high-growth or scaling environment
  • Exposure to data center, infrastructure, or technical workforce populations
  • Experience building or refining in-house immigration processes
  • Strong data reporting and program metrics experience
  • Proven ability to improve employee-facing processes and service delivery
  • Creative problem-solving skills and comfort handling complex situations

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.

Salary Range

$75,000 - $110,000 USD
