Senior Accounts Payable Analyst - PTP
The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst plays a key role in managing and optimizing Accounts Payable activities within the Procure-to-Pay function. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, queries, vendor account management, and compliance with company policies and Asia regulatory requirements.
As a senior member of the PTP team, the role also supports process improvements, provides guidance on complex AP matters, and works closely with procurement, finance, and operational stakeholders to ensure efficient end-to-end PTP operations. The position requires strong system knowledge, sound financial judgment, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee and support end-to-end Accounts Payable activities within the Procure-to-Pay process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Process and review supplier invoices in ERP and PTP systems, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and documentation
- Perform and monitor three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts, resolving discrepancies where required
- Investigate and resolve complex invoice issues related to pricing, quantities, tax treatment, or contractual terms
- Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders, procurement teams, and suppliers regarding AP-related matters
- Support vendor account management activities including supplier inquiries, statement reconciliations, and issue resolution
- Prepare, review, and support payment runs while ensuring compliance with payment terms and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, audit requirements, and VAT regulations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
- Monitor AP performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, system enhancements, and standardization across PTP processes
- Maintain strong collaboration with finance, procurement, and other business units to ensure smooth PTP operations
About You
- Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay operations, preferably in an international or shared services environment
- Strong experience with ERP systems and AP automation tools (e.g. NetSuite or similar financial systems)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other finance tools
- Solid understanding of purchase order–based invoicing, three-way matching, and end-to-end PTP processes
- Good knowledge of APAC regulations and financial compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex AP issues
- Excellent attention to details with a structured and organized approach to work
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
