About the Role

We’re looking for a Transfer Pricing Manager to join our expanding tax team, playing a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining NScale’s global transfer pricing framework.

This role is ideal for a transfer pricing specialist with strong transfer pricing fundamentals who enjoys operating close to the business in a fast-moving, tech-driven environment. You’ll partner closely with Finance, Legal, and senior stakeholders to support complex cross-border transactions, business scaling, and new market entry, while ensuring alignment with OECD guidelines and local regulations.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role in a lean but growing team, offering broad exposure across international tax, commercial decision-making, and strategic projects in a global group.

What You’ll be Doing (Responsibilities)

• Support and manage NScale’s global transfer pricing framework, ensuring compliance with OECD guidelines and local country requirements.
• Build and operate detailed transfer pricing models in Excel (including cost-based, margin-based, and profit split approaches), working directly with Finance data to support intercompany pricing and ongoing monitoring.
• Prepare, review, and maintain transfer pricing documentation (master file, local files, benchmarking studies), coordinating with external advisors where required.
• Advise on the transfer pricing implications of intercompany transactions, including services, IP, cloud infrastructure, cost-sharing, and financing arrangements.
• Partner with Finance and Legal on the design and implementation of intercompany agreements and pricing policies.
• Monitor and assess developments in global transfer pricing rules and international tax frameworks (e.g. OECD BEPS, Pillar One / Pillar Two) and assess business impact.
• Support tax audits, enquiries, and information requests relating to transfer pricing across jurisdictions.
• Provide transfer pricing input on new market entry, business model changes, and group reorganisations.

• ACA, CTA, ATID, CPA, NOB or equivalent professional qualification.
• 4-7 years of experience in tax, with significant expertise in UK and EU VAT.
• Solid grounding in OECD transfer pricing principles, with the ability to apply them pragmatically in a commercial environment.
• Advanced Excel capability, including building complex transfer pricing models, scenario analysis, and data-driven pricing calculations.
• Comfortable operating with incomplete information and evolving business models.
• Practical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to change.
